The Bessie Kates Foundation, Inc. is named after the grandmother of the founder. The foundation was founded in June 2009.  The Bessie Kates Foundation, Inc. purpose is to provide medical supplies and equipment for free to hospitals and clinics in developing nations.  

 

Our goal is to become a clear bridge of healthcare delivery to hospitals, clincs, and govermnet bodies.  We aim to remove all barriers that hinder quality healthcare.

 

Our vision is to establish relationships that will benefit hospitals and healthcare clinics. This will allow us to provide a path to assist individuals that are seeking healthcare services that are not provided in their country.

The purpose of the Bessie Kates Foundation, Inc. is to provide supplies and equipment to hospitals and health care clinics in developing nations.

We are a 501(c)(3) foundation. Any donations made are tax deductible. When donations are made we take the money and buy the items that the hospitals need, i.e., linen, meal supplements, reference books and other items that are essential to the hospitals and clinics.  We do accept equipment as donations and have a policy for this process. We do provide a letter of donation once it has been received. All donations received before December15TH will receive a donation letter by December 31st. Donations received after December 15th will receive a donation letter by Jan. 31st of the following year.
